Many countries lay claim to being the birthplace of Salsa Music and Dance. One thing is for certain: as the multi-cultural beats and steps spread through the Caribbean and throughout all of the Americas, several distinct styles emerged. One style is Colombian, where partners dance very fast and exceptionally close. The music is equally hot, and no visit here would be a true Colombian cultural experience without experiencing salsa. In this fun 1- or 2-hour dance class, the privacy of having the studio, apartment or club (depending on the number in your group) to yourself will give you the confidence to relax and just enjoy. Your instructor will have you moving to the rhythm of the music in no time, even if you’re a complete beginner on the dance floor. If you already love dancing and are comfortable on your feet, even better; your instructor will adapt the lesson to your level, so you will be impressed with your new moves and be ready to hit the dance clubs like a local.
