You’d better skip breakfast today, because we will keep you well-fed on this tour. Meet your guide in the hotel lobby and get ready for a taste-full experience of culinary Bogotá.
Like other South American countries, Colombia has its own culture and culinary styles. There are also quite a number of distinct regional specialties and typical dishes. Enjoy this satisfying tour of the unique flavors of Bogotá. This is a fully customizable tour we can adjust according to your interests and, well, tastes.
Start off with breakfast at La Puerta Falsa in Candelaria, which has been serving up classic food for 200 years. Portion sizes are ample and its tamal con chocolate is unrivalled. What could be better than chocolate for breakfast? From here, head on over to Plaza de Paloquemao’s market that touts itself as “all of Colombia in one place.” Be amazed by the abundance of the freshest fish, meats, medicinal & culinary herbs, fresh fruits & vegetables to purchase or perhaps sample.
From here, we’ll head on over to explore Usaquén Market which operates on Sundays, then enjoy a typical lunch at a local restaurant. On all other days, we’ll head on over to a local Culinary School to lunch on the chefs’ creations.
